Today Boy Genius saw the MSRP of the Rim Remote Stereo Gateway. However we will be carrying this item in our store as soon as it is instock. The MSRP for this product is 79.99 per tessco, one of the largest distribution companies in the mobile world. When this product you can expect to see it up for 69.95 in the Berryshack Store. With this device you will be able to not only play your music from you phone through your home stereo or computer, but you can also use it to listen to your music from your stereo to your bluetooth wireless headset, like the Motorola S9, or the Motorola S805. Hmmm will RIM be cooking up a new headset soon now that they have this gateway? Maybe a Bluetooth Stereo Headset...I guess we will just have to wait and see whats up RIM's sleeve.

CES 2008: The Speck Products Booth

We were just walking around in the North Hall at CES and look who we found. Speck Products, one of the many manufactures that the Berryshack store carries. Speck had a great new product line up for the iPhone, iPod, and iPod Touch. Anything that they might have for the Blackberry however, we alrady carry in the Berryshack store.

CES 2008: Blackberry 8120 for AT&T Pictures and Hands On and More...

Today we were at the Blackberry booth here at CES 2008 and we happened to stumble on to this little guy. The Blackberry Pearl 8120. We had a chance to talk to some of the reps about the device and play with some of the features. The Blackberry 8120 will be coming with version 4.3 loaded on it as well as the option to take videos right to your pearl. Hmmm...I wonder if the Facebook app will allow video uploads from your Blackberry device, I know that I would like to be able to do that. CES 2008: Bill Gates Keynote

Kicking off the Keynote, Bill Gates announced that he would be taking himself out of the day to day events to focus more on his foundation with his wife. He will also be focusing on what he can do to help in the education system and to help raise the national GPA. He also said that is far as the new innovations go that he has a few tricks up his sleeve this year.

He announced that Microsoft would be very active in the the new Ford Sync campaign. A technology which brings everything you use and do together in the car. This option provides a new safer way for you to multi task while on the road and also promotes saftey first with the variety of voice commands offered.

Blackberry 8920 Device Information

Well as you saw a couple of days ago. We posted a few images of this mystery blackberry device but it looks like Boy Genius cleared up some of the mystery of this phone.

Shortly after this post was made we had a message from an anonymous source that was very confident in saying that the model of this phone "should" be called the Blackberry 8920. (Please note this is pure speculation and an anonymous tip from one of our users.) It now looks like we will be seeing a new 8900 series of devices. I wonder what RIM will say if this is brought to the table? I have a pretty good feeling we might be able to find out more about this phone at CES this week. Check back for more reports and updates this week. It should be interesting to see some of the new devices.

Slingbox Pro-HD and Sling Player for Blackberry

So it looks like Blackberry users will finally be getting a shot at using Slingbox in the near future. Sling will be coming out with the SlingPlayer Client for Blackberry devices. It will be out later on in the year for all Blackberry addicts at $29.99. Also Sling will be announcing the Slingbox Pro-HD. It looks to have all of the features of the current Slingbox but with all of the 1080i Streaming capabilities. This is said to be out in the third quarter of 2008 with a retail price of $399.99.
